ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES

Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex, physical disabilities, age, religion, ethnic origin, marital status, sexual orientation, creed, or military status.

Mister Wayne's admits as regular students only persons who are at least 16½ years of age, are high school graduates or are holders of a high school graduation equivalency diploma (GED with transcript). Online diplomas are not accepted by the school or by the Barber Board.

The applicant must be of good moral character and have temperate habits. The applicant's background, prior education, work experience and desire to enter the profession are considered. Recommendations from persons who are not employed or affiliated with the school may also be considered in determining the applicant's acceptance into the program. The applicant will be further evaluated in a personal interview and be accepted for enrollment if the required standards are met and the applicant exhibits the ability to succeed in the profession.

Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design total cost of tuition is $14,500.


CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS TRAINING

Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design will give credit to a student for hours earned in another accredited school, but these hours must come under the regulation of the Tennessee Board of Barber Examiners. Any questionable case will be referred to the board for approval. Requests for credit on previously earned hours must be made at the time of enrollment. Online diplomas are not accepted.


DISCLOSURE OF TRANSFERABILITY OF CREDITS

Credits earned at Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Mister Wanyne's School of Unisex Hair Design. You should obtain confirmation that Mister Wayne'sSchool of Unisex Hair Design will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollrnent contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or frorn any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
