Established in 1979
Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design was established in December 1979 at its present location in the Willow Tree Shopping Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. Owned by Melissa Fletcher, the 2,300-square-foot Redken Premier School is OPI-certified and includes a full-service salon and facilities for instruction in all phases of the master barber curriculum. A large number of our graduates have made successful careers for themselves across the U.S.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Mister Wayne's School of Unisex Hair Design is dedicated to a barber training program of outstanding quality for all men and women who desire a career in beauty and hair design.

We're attuned to the changing needs in the beauty field and are continuously striving to provide you with hair salon skills that will fully equip you for a beauty career today and in the future. Mister Wayne's also realizes the importance of human factors as a part of a well-rounded beauty school education and encourages responsible leadership, morals, citizenship and a positive attitude of professionalism in our students to enhance beauty career success.

It is our obligation to produce well-trained and properly motivated beauty school graduates to potential employers in the hair design field. Many of our students have gone on to open their own hair salons upon graduation as master hair stylists and barbers.
